Here all this time I had been thinking that Dog beds, Bolster Dog beds and Round Dog Beds were new to the industry. Quite to my surprise, while I was doing research on Dog Beds the other day on Patents I found this not to be true.

In the year 1926, the patent for the Dog bed looked just like a round rubber disk. The next Patent that I found for Dog beds was not until 1973 and this bed looked like a sleeping bag with a tie closer on the front of it. In 1989, the Bolster Dog Bed Patent looked like a chair from the 50's. The Dog bed from 1992 looked like a cardboard box with a sheet thrown on top of it. In 1993, they have a Patent for a Dog bed made of foam, which looked just like a donut. All of these descriptions of the beds are my own and may not reflect what the people were trying to put across to the public.

Now in the year 2001 they had a patent for human shaped beds taking after us, humans. There also was this trendy looking Dog bed made of denim jean material with the pockets and everything that looked just like jeans but was a dog bed. In 2001, they came up with new shapes, colors and sizes of Dog beds. Now if you can think of the style of bed you would like for your pet you can find it. On the other hand, if you want any type of clothes, shoes, collars, leashes, doghouses, jewelry, or any dog product at all you will have no problem finding it online.

I have discovered doing my research that Dog beds have been around the industry for a long time, longer than I had thought they had been.
