A Yorkie Terrier is an adorable dog that usually weighs between five and seven pounds. The markings or color of a Yorkie Terrier are usually blue and tan or gray or blue and tan with a hint of silver-blue. The coat of a Yorkie Terrier is fine, glossy and straight. One of the cutest attributes of a Yorkie Terrier is their small size. A Yorkie Terrier is like a portable doll. Designer companies make carrying cases that
resemble handbags that can transport a Yorkie Terrier anywhere. At times one might catch a glimpse of an individual with a large handbag and a little, adorable Yorkie Terrier popping out its head. Yorkie Terriers are very popular among women.

A Yorkie Terrier, because of its longer hair requires a medium amount of grooming. A Yorkie Terrier's hair must be kept smooth and untangled.A Yorkie Terrier is a dog that is good around children and with other pets. A Yorkie Terrier is considered to be in the class of Toy dog.

The Yorkie Terrier or the Yorkshire Terrier was the world's most popular dog breed during the early nineteenth century. The miners of
Yorkshire had wanted to create a type of ratting terrier that could be carried easily in a man's pocket. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cross between a Clydesdale and Black and Tan Terrier.

One of the downsides of owning a Yorkie Terrier is that this particular breed of dog is known for having a genetic eye disease and acollapsing trachea. This does not happen in all Yorkie Terriers though.

A Yorkie Terrier is a cute and lovable companion. This type of dog canbe purchased from a registered breeder or a local pet store. A YorkieTerrier is a little dog that possesses a big and caring heart. This is a great dog to own.
