Dog Behavior Training

When a dog joins your family and if you are willing to keep the dog in the house, the dog, even as a puppy must comply with the regulations of your home. You most certainly don't need to have the floor wet or the couch chewed or your neighbors despaired by the barking or any other surprise that a dog might bring, and I'm talking about unpleasant surprises. To avoid all these you can start a little dog behavior training, which will be of great help both to you and your dog. Using dog behavior training will make peace between you and your dog and you will be in great terms from now on.
The dog behavior training implies crate training, teaching your pet some basic tricks such as sit, stay or fetch. Also, the dog behavior training deals with preventing your dog to chew on things in the house, to bark, to be aggressive or to whine. All these are natural animal behaviors that all dogs usually display. But these are not acceptable in the human society and must be corrected accordingly. The dog behavior training will make some ground means of communication with your pet and you will be able to pinpoint any of the issues from the very beginning and eliminate these.
As mentioned before, the dog behavior training includes crate training. But how can you teach a small pup that wetting the floor is not all right and this must be done in a special place, namely the crate. Beating the dog is not a solution and every master of a dog should know that. Of course, you have to accept that your pup will wet the floor several times even after you have started the dog behavior training. Some breeds learn faster, some slower. You have to be patient and you will see the results at the end. So, when the floor is wet and the puppy is the cause, you should express your disapproval by saying some words such as BAD or NO, and show the dog the wet area or even make the dog smell the zone. Then, show your dog the crate and say some appraisal words that the dog knows are of a positive meaning. Don't let the dog play near the crate, or play or sleep as this means it will associate the crate with other activities, and you won't have a good outcome. The dog behavior training can be based on associations between your tone of the voice or your actions with the dog's actions, and this is a way to start talking to your dog. This basic dog behavior training will allow you to let your dog know what you accept in its behavior and what needs correction.
Last but not least, the dog behavior training needs to start at an early stage, so don't stay and do nothing, teach your dog what and how.
